DANCING WATER
The soothing murmur of an indoor fountain or the sound of a water spring bowl encourages the mind and inspires the senses. Water games leave a lasting positive impression on a room’s climate.
Christian Tobin, Dancing Stones
In Christian Tobin’s ‘Dancing Stones,’ heavy boulders seem weightless, able to move with incredible ease, and float on a thin film of water. Each stone spins, swings, and dances according to its unique rhythm in the moving water. Through the use of indirect light, in combination with precise detailing, the ‘Dancing Stones’ project magnificent water reflections onto nearby walls.
In the spirit of Tobini’s ‘Dancing Stones,’ there is no limit to the size of these pieces. We at GRUENHORN will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect match for your indoor or outdoor space.
Christof Grosse, Water Spring Bowl
Influenced by ancient Chinese fortune bowls, meditative sounds are produced through rubbing the handles of the bowl. The sound vibrations cause water to spring into the air- a sound massage for all senses.
The Water Spring bowls are crafted using bronze bowls initially produced in a German bell foundry. GRUENHORN offers two sizes: Ø 17.74 and 22.83 inch.
The aesthetic and meditative effects of the Water Spring bowls make them ideal for private as well as public spaces, such as wellness- and hotel environments, and educational institutions.
